CoreDial Announces Support For Digium IP Phones
Blue Bell, Pa., May 23, 2012 – CoreDial, LLC, a leading cloud communications software and services provider, today announced it has certified Digium’s new IP phones on its platform. With this announcement, CoreDial’s more-than-100 channel partners have the opportunity to provision these new phones to their end-user customers.
This is an extension of the existing partnership between CoreDial and Digium. CoreDial software integrates with Digium’s Asterisk software, to provide a high quality, feature rich hosted service for CoreDial’s channel partners. The company also offers standard and enhanced SIP trunking services that support VoIP solutions including Digium’s award-winning Switchvox business phone system.
CoreDial will support the Digium D40, D50 and D70 phones. The just-released Digium phones are specifically engineered to fully leverage the power of Asterisk, the world’s most widely adopted open source communications software, and Switchvox, Digium’s award-winning Unified Communications (UC) system.
“We believe that combining our Asterisk phones and CoreDial’s cloud-based VoIP solution is an exciting option for any Interconnect, Managed Service Provider or Carrier,” said Steve Harvey, vice president of world wide sales at Digium. “CoreDial’s support of our phones opens up a new market segment to us, and provides an immediate opportunity for CoreDial’s channel partners to sell Digium IP phones to their end-user customers. Their customers will benefit from optimum performance, unprecedented integration and a uniquely customizable phone solution.”
CoreDial delivers cloud communications software and services to private labeled service providers. “Our partners and their end-user customers will benefit greatly from our support of the feature-rich Digium phones,” said Alan Rihm, CEO of CoreDial. “There is strong demand for a hosted solution such as ours in combination with the functionality and price points these new Digium phones deliver. With this announcement, channel partners utilizing our software have immediate access to sell, deliver and manage hosted PBX, VoIP and SIP trunking services with Digium phones on the end-users’ desk.”
